Skilled youth can be impactful contributors to society. Equipping young people with relevant skills and tools enables them to earn with dignity and contribute positively to their communities.

In a continued effort to promote climate-smart agriculture and efficient water management, groundbreaking of Smart Irrigation project was held at the Agriculture Research Institute (ARI), Swat.

The schemes were initiated in Village Kikor and Village Karshat, Union Council Damorai, Tehsil Alpuri.

The project will provide clean electricity to over 4,044 households, 150 hotels and small businesses, while also cutting 7,200 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. By promoting renewable energy, the project will help tackle climate change and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

To celebrate the achievements of 720 men and women who successfully completed skills and vocational training in leather bag making, Adda work, mobile repairing, and solar installation, a certificate and toolkit distribution ceremony was held at SRSP’s training center in Peshawar.

To improve the living conditions and provide better livelihoods opportunities to the host and Afghan communities living in district Kohat, SRSP in collaboration with Care International Pakistan has successfully completed the “WAQAR” project. This project was funded by the European Union in Pakistan , financed through UNOPs Pakistan and supported by Care International in Pakistan.

To build a better future; Youth from the host and Afghan refugee communities successfully completed skills training.

SRSP has inaugurated the recently completed 6 government schools at various locations in district Chitral, with the financial support of the government of Germany through PATRIP Foundation and KfW.
