
The project will provide clean electricity to over 4,044 households, 150 hotels and small businesses, while also cutting 7,200 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. By promoting renewable energy, the project will help tackle climate change and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
To celebrate the achievements of 720 men and women who successfully completed skills and vocational training in leather bag making, Adda work, mobile repairing, and solar installation, a certificate and toolkit distribution ceremony was held at SRSP’s training center in Peshawar.
To improve the living conditions and provide better livelihoods opportunities to the host and Afghan communities living in district Kohat, SRSP in collaboration with Care International Pakistan has successfully completed the “WAQAR” project. This project was funded by the European Union in Pakistan , financed through UNOPs Pakistan and supported by Care International in Pakistan.

#Women in #KhyberPakhtunkhwa still have #limited #knowledge about their #rights and lack a #platform to voice their concerns. To address this, #GIZ in collaboration with Local Government Elections & Rural Development Department KP (LGE&RDD) and supported by #SRSP, has established #Women Facilitation Desks (#WFDs) in #Swat and #Kohat under the ‘Participatory Local Governance Programme.’
