In district Kohat, the Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) is actively engaged in all 32 Union Councils, covering 71 Village Councils and 20 Neighbourhood Councils, with outreach to 121,344 households as per the 2017 census.
Social mobilization efforts have led to the establishment of 3,210 Community Organizations (2,371 male, 839 female) with a combined 75,469 member households (57,701 male, 17,768 female). Additionally, 35 Village Organizations (26 male, 9 female) and 5 LSOs have been formed. No interest groups were reported in this region.
Capacity building has been a major focus, with 37,860 individuals trained. Of these, 27,634 received managerial training (16,803 men, 10,831 women) and 10,226 received vocational training (3,710 men, 6,516 women), showing high participation of women in vocational programs.
Under the Community Physical Infrastructure (CPI) component, 913 schemes have been implemented across a variety of sectors: 306 DWSS (Drinking Water Supply Schemes), 37 communication, 120 irrigation, 77 soil conservation, 4 IAUP, 268 sanitation, and 101 other projects. The total investment in CPIs is PKR 340.06 million, benefiting 87,778 households.
In terms of microfinance, Rs. 314.76 million has been disbursed in microcredit, reaching 13,626 beneficiaries. Additionally, Community Investment Fund (CIF) disbursements total Rs. 52.65 million, benefiting 1,282 individuals.
