SRSP has implemented a wide-ranging development program across all 59 union councils of Mansehra district, achieving full coverage and significant impact. The organization has established a strong foundation for community participation through the formation of 3,908 Community Organizations, comprising 2,585 male groups (MCOs) and 1,323 female groups (WCOs), which collectively represent 92,087 households. This extensive network demonstrates SRSP’s successful grassroots mobilization efforts and the establishment of an effective platform for community engagement.
At the village level, SRSP has supported the creation of 283 Village Organizations, including 209 male groups (MVOs) and 74 female groups (WVOs), along with 16 Local Support Organizations (LSOs). This multi-level institutional structure facilitates participatory decision-making and enables communities to drive their development processes.
The capacity-building component has reached 30,087 individuals through comprehensive training initiatives. These include 22,312 participants in managerial training (13,834 men and 8,478 women) and 7,775 in vocational training (3,890 men and 3,885 women). These programs have enhanced both leadership capabilities and practical skills among community members, with particular emphasis on gender-balanced participation.
In the infrastructure sector, SRSP has completed 1,223 community projects with a total investment of PKR 627.23 million. The portfolio includes 654 drinking water supply schemes, 215 communication projects, 73 irrigation schemes, 58 soil conservation initiatives, and 115 sanitation projects, among others. These interventions have substantially improved living conditions for 771,097 households in Mansehra district, addressing critical needs in water access, transportation, agricultural productivity, and public health infrastructure.
