In the Dera Ismail Khan district, SRSP has extended its community-driven development approach to 6 out of 47 union councils, working to strengthen local institutions and improve livelihoods. The organization has successfully established 419 Community Organizations, comprising 265 Male COs (MCOs) and 154 Female COs (WCOs), representing 8,439 households. Additionally, SRSP has facilitated the formation of 53 Village Organizations, with 32 Male VOs (MVOs) and 21 Female VOs (WVOs), creating a robust network for collective community action.
Capacity development remains a key focus area in DI Khan, where SRSP has trained 9,812 individuals through various programs. This includes 7,867 managerial trainees (5,030 men and 2,837 women) and 1,945 vocational trainees (1,169 men and 776 women). These training initiatives aim to enhance leadership capabilities and create economic opportunities, particularly for women and marginalized groups.
The infrastructure development portfolio in the district features 281 completed Community Physical Infrastructure (CPI) schemes. These include 6 drinking water supply systems, 10 communication projects, 16 sanitation initiatives, and 42 other development schemes. With a substantial investment of PKR 645 million, these projects have directly benefited 52,810 households, addressing critical needs in water access, connectivity, and public health.
