SRSP has achieved significant progress in the Buner district. Operating in 25 out of 27 union councils. The program has successfully mobilized communities through the establishment of 1,411 community organizations, including 892 male and 519 female community organizations, collectively representing 36,193 households. This strong institutional foundation reflects SRSP’s effective grassroots engagement strategy in the district.
At the village level, the program has supported the formation of 166 community institutions, consisting of 123 male groups and 43 female groups, along with 9 Local Support Organizations and 83 specialized Interest Groups. This multi-tiered structure ensures inclusive participation in local development planning and decision-making.
Capacity-building initiatives have reached 12,091 individuals, including 8,961 participants in management training (5,747 men and 3,214 women) and 3,130 in vocational skills programs (2,361 men and 769 women).
The infrastructure portfolio includes 287 completed projects with a total investment of PKR 186.29 million. These initiatives encompass 76 water supply schemes, 45 communication projects, 5 irrigation systems, 29 sanitation facilities, 4 micro-hydro plants, and 126 other community-driven interventions, benefiting 42,175 households across the district.
