SRSP has established operations in 4 of Bannu district’s 49 union councils, implementing its community-focused development model. The organization has formed 83 Community Organizations, comprising 45 Male COs (MCOs) and 38 Female COs (WCOs), which collectively represent 1,444 households. These grassroots institutions serve as platforms for community engagement and local decision-making, though the district currently has no formal Village Organizations or Local Support Organizations in place.
The capacity-building program has made significant strides, training a total of 7,926 individuals. This includes 6,041 participants in managerial training (3,852 men and 2,189 women) and 1,885 in vocational training (543 men and 1,342 women). Notably, women constitute the majority of vocational trainees, reflecting SRSP’s emphasis on female economic empowerment through skills development.
