A contract agreement was signed between Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Local Government and SRSP at Directorate General, Local Government & Rural Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Under this agreement, SRSP will serve as the Village Facilitation Social Partner for Package-I of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Investment and Institutional Support Project (KP-RIISP) LG Component.
Through this initiative, SRSP under the supervision of PIU LG will improve the capacities of male and female community members of Districts Mohmand, Bajaur, and Khyber to identify, implement and monitor projects according to their needs. This Project aligns with the Provincial Government resolve of “Ikhtiyar Awam ka” to enable the community to take step towards their betterment.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Kamran Khan Project Director PIU LG / Director General of the Local Government & Rural Development Department and Mr. Masood Ul Mulk Chief Executive Officer of SRSP.
Mr. Zafar Ul Islam, Secretary, Local Government Elections & Rural Development Department KP, the Chief Operating Officer of SRSP, key staff members from the Directorate General of Local Government and SRSP staff witnessed the signing ceremony.
