SRSP expands its transformative journey by integrating critical issues like gender-based violence and menstrual hygiene management within its area of focus. Multiple initiatives like establishment of women and girl friendly spaces, provision of psycho social services and training of protection groups, with support of UNFPA, has helped SRSP reach over 140,000 girls, women and disabled individuals.
SRSP’s MHM awareness efforts for a total of 190,572 women along with provision of dignity kits to 50,809 Afghan women aims to enhance the overall wellbeing of rural women. Furthermore, various initiatives have sensitized 97,598 individuals on GBV, trained 76,001 community members on prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse and have managed to reach 56000 people with its awareness programs.
