SRSP maintains a focused presence in Tor Ghar district, currently operating in 4 out of 15 union councils. While community organization formation is still in early stages, the program has made significant progress in capacity building, having trained 2,528 individuals to date. This includes 1,804 managerial trainees (1,338 men and 466 women) and 724 vocational trainees (668 men and 56 women), demonstrating SRSP’s commitment to developing local leadership and skills despite challenging initial conditions.
The training programs show particular promise for women’s empowerment in the district, with 522 women having participated across both managerial and vocational courses. These capacity-building efforts lay the groundwork for future institutional development and community-led initiatives in Tor Ghar.
