
In the Tank district, SRSP has established operations in 6 out of 16 union councils, implementing its community-focused development model. The organization has formed 229 Community Organizations, consisting of 137 Male COs (MCOs) and 92 Female COs (WCOs), representing 5,867 households. Additionally, SRSP has supported the creation of 41 Village Organizations, including 25 Male VOs (MVOs) and 16 Female VOs (WVOs), building a foundation for community-led development.
Capacity building efforts in Tank have reached 1,778 individuals through various training programs. This includes 1,509 managerial trainees (1,105 men and 404 women) and 269 vocational trainees (211 men and 58 women). These training initiatives focus on enhancing leadership skills and creating livelihood opportunities, with particular emphasis on women’s participation.
The infrastructure development component in Tank includes 8 completed Community Physical Infrastructure (CPI) schemes. These projects consist of 3 sanitation initiatives and 5 other development schemes, representing an investment of PKR 79.37 million that has benefited 1,692 households. While the current portfolio is modest, these interventions address critical local needs in public health and community development.
