In the district of Lower Chitral, SRSP has maintained a strong development presence across all 14 Union Councils, with outreach to 56 Village Councils and 5 Neighbourhood Councils, encompassing a total of 35,945 households.
Through social mobilization efforts, 1,587 Community Organizations have been formed, including 999 male and 588 female organizations, representing 37,450 household memberships. The community-led framework is further strengthened by 87 Village Organizations (64 male, 23 female) and 6 Local Support Organizations (LSOs), along with 22 Interest Groups promoting collective action on specific local issues.
Training and capacity-building efforts have reached a wide audience. A total of 9,555 individuals (5,986 men and 3,569 women) received managerial training, while 3,428 individuals (2,122 men and 1,306 women) benefited from vocational training. The combined number of trainees stands at 12,983 (8,108 male, 4,875 female).
In the domain of physical infrastructure, SRSP has implemented 234 community projects, covering 141 DWSS (drinking water supply schemes), 104 communication projects, 71 irrigation schemes, 3 soil conservation projects, 12 IAUP, 45 sanitation, 18 micro-hydro projects, and other community works. The total value of these infrastructure schemes is PKR 1.18 billion, directly benefiting 106,354 households.
