
In Kolai Palas district, SRSP has established comprehensive coverage across all 11 union councils through its community-driven development approach. The organization has formed 899 Community Organizations, consisting of 632 male groups (MCOs) and 267 female groups (WCOs), which collectively represent 21,298 households. This extensive institutional network demonstrates SRSP’s successful grassroots mobilization efforts in the district.
At the village level, SRSP has facilitated the creation of 18 Village Organizations, including 13 male groups (MVOs) and 5 female groups (WVOs), supported by 1 Local Support Organization (LSO). This multi-tiered structure enables effective community participation in local development planning and decision-making processes.
Capacity building initiatives have reached 6,753 individuals through training programs, including 4,959 managerial trainees (3,079 men and 1,880 women) and 1,794 vocational trainees (1,084 men and 710 women). These programs have strengthened both leadership capabilities and livelihood skills, with particular attention to women’s empowerment in the district.
In the infrastructure sector, SRSP has completed 38 community projects with a total investment of PKR 154.84 million. These interventions include 10 drinking water supply schemes, 2 communication projects, 15 irrigation schemes, and 11 micro-hydro projects, directly benefiting 5,995 households across Kolai Palas district. The projects address critical needs in water access, connectivity, agricultural development, and renewable energy provision.
