In Battagram district, SRSP has established full coverage across all 20 union councils, implementing a comprehensive community-driven development program. The organization has formed 1,508 Community Organizations, consisting of 1,114 male community organizations (MCOs) and 394 female community organizations (WCOs), representing 35,815 households. This robust institutional network demonstrates SRSP’s effective grassroots mobilization in the district.
At the village level, SRSP has supported the creation of 118 Village Organizations, including 87 male groups (MVOs) and 31 female groups (WVOs), along with 10 Local Support Organizations (LSOs). This multi-tiered structure enables effective community participation in local development initiatives.
Capacity building efforts have reached 14,867 individuals through training programs, including 11,054 managerial trainees (7,011 men and 4,043 women) and 3,813 vocational trainees (2,571 men and 1,242 women). These initiatives have strengthened both leadership skills and livelihood opportunities, with particular attention to women’s participation.
In the infrastructure sector, SRSP has completed 649 community projects with a total investment of PKR 252.36 million. These include 320 drinking water supply schemes, 151 communication projects, 26 irrigation schemes, 16 soil conservation initiatives, 113 sanitation projects, and 8 micro-hydro projects, benefiting 296,430 households across Battagram district.
The Community Investment Fund (CIF) has provided PKR 35.18 million to 3,425 beneficiaries, supporting small-scale community enterprises.
