Sarhad Rural Support signed an agreement with British Council project titled “Scholarships for young women and girls”. Under the project, scholarships will be awarded to 450 girl students of secondary school age (13-16 years) belonging from government schools or low-cost private schools only.
Objective of the project is to provide support to secondary level female students who fall into the category of being un-privileged, disabled and poor groups, with scholarship that will help the students continue their schooling. School uniforms, bags, books, stationery and shoes, tuition fee, examination fee etc will be covered under the scholarship.
