The Second Meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) of the PEACE-II Project, funded by European Union in Pakistan, was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Adeel Shah, Secretary, Planning & Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the meeting, Mr Masood Ul Mulk CEO SRSP and Mr. Syed Aftab Ahmad COO SRSP briefed the Secretary on the progress made under the project so far. The Secretary appreciated SRSP management and project team for the progress achieved and expressed satisfaction with the sustainable model adopted for interventions under PEACE-II. He further directed SRSP to ensure the timely achievement of all project objectives within the stipulated timelines.
The Year 3 Work Plan of PEACE-II was also reviewed and approved during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by the Mr.Jeroren Wilems Head of Cooperation at the Delegation of the European Union to Pakistan (virtually), Mr. Sohail Azam PEACE-II Project Manager at the Delegation of the European Union to Pakistan, Mr. Shehzad Mehboob Chief Economist, Planning and Development Department, Mr. Akhtar Rehman Chief IDS, Mr. Zahir Ali Khan Senior Planning Officer Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization, Mr. Faisal Dawar PD MHHPs (PEDO) and other relevant officials.
